Size Guide

Find your fit before you order — measure yourself once, order with confidence.

The right size means a uniform that looks sharp, lasts longer, and feels comfortable on the job. This guide walks you through how to measure yourself, shows our size charts by garment type, and tells you what to do if you're between sizes. If you're ordering for a team, you can also book a free sizing kit (sample garments to try on) for orders over 20 units — contact us to arrange.

How to Measure Yourself

You'll need a soft measuring tape (the kind tailors use, not a rigid builder's tape). Stand naturally in well-fitting underwear or light clothing — don't measure over a jumper or jacket. Keep the tape snug but not tight, and parallel to the floor.

A. Neck -: Measure around the middle of your neck at collar level. Keep one finger between your neck and the tape so there's room for comfort.

B. Chest -:
With your arms relaxed by your sides, measure under your arms and around the fullest part of your
chest. Tape goes across your shoulder blades at the back.

C. Waist -:
Measure around your natural waistline (the narrowest part, usually around the belly button). Keep one finger between your body and the tape.

D. Hips -:
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.

E. Inseam -: Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the inside leg on a well-fitting pair of pants you already own. This is the most accurate way to get inseam without a partner helping.

F. Sleeve length -: For long-sleeve garments, measure from the centre of the back of your neck, across your shoulder, and down to your wrist with your arm slightly bent.

Tip: If you can, have someone help you measure. Self-measuring chest and back is tricky and small errors compound across sizes.

Kids' sizing tip: Children's measurements vary widely at the same age. Always measure rather than relying on age alone, especially around the chest.

Fit Types Explained

Different garments are cut differently. Knowing the fit type helps you choose the right size — a slim fit polo and an easy fit polo in the same size will feel very different on.

Tailored / Slim Fit — Tapered through the chest, shoulders and waist. Closer to the body. Choose this if you want a sharp, modern look and you have a lean build.

Classic Fit — Modern cut with ease through the chest and shoulders. The middle ground — flattering on most builds.

Easy Fit — Fuller, more generous cut. Best for relaxed all-day wear, layering over base layers, or larger builds.

Tailored Fit (pants) — Mid rise, semi-slim through hip and thigh with a narrower leg.

Regular Fit (pants) — Mid rise, contoured through hip and thigh with a straight leg. The most common cut.

Easy Fit (pants) — Mid rise with added ease through seat, hip and thigh. Looser fit for all-day comfort.

What If I'm Between Sizes?

Two simple rules:
1. If one measurement is on the border between two sizes, order the smaller size for a tighter fit, or the larger size for a looser fit.

2. If your hip and waist measurements suggest different sizes (common for pants), go with the size suggested by your hip measurement and have the waist altered if needed — letting out hips is harder than taking in a waist. When in doubt, order the larger size. A slightly loose garment is more comfortable than one that's too tight, especially for workwear you'll be in all day.

Garment-to-Garment Comparison

If you have a shirt or top that fits you well, you can compare its measurements to ours directly. This is often more accurate than measuring your body.

1. Lay your favourite-fitting garment flat on a table.

2. Measure the ½ chest — from underarm to underarm, just below where the sleeve joins the body.

3. Compare to the chest measurements in our charts above.
