Shipping policy

This policy explains how we process and ship orders from Shirt City. Please read it together with our Terms & Conditions.

Where We Ship

We currently ship within Australia only. We do not ship internationally.

If you have selected the wrong shipping country at checkout, please contact us at support@shirtcity.com.au before payment is processed.

Processing Time

Because every Shirt City order is decorated to your specification, the total time from order to delivery has two parts:

1. Production time (from artwork approval and cleared payment)

We strive for 2–5 business days for standard jobs. For embroidery and heat transfer orders we will confirm the exact turnaround by email at the quote stage, because it depends on quantity, decoration complexity and current workload.

  • Vinyl cut-and-press and sublimation: usually 2–5 business days
  • Embroidery and heat transfer (DTF): 2–5 business days for small jobs; confirmed by email for larger orders
  • Bulk orders (20+ units): contact us for a custom timeline

2. Shipping time (from dispatch to delivery — set by the carrier)

Production time begins the business day after we receive your approved artwork and cleared payment, not the day you place the order.

Shipping Methods and Estimates

We ship with Australia Post. Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

Service Metro Regional
Standard 2–6 business days 3–8 business days
Express 1–3 business days 2–5 business days

Carrier estimates are not guarantees. Delivery may take longer during peak retail periods, public holidays, or due to events outside the carrier's control.

Shipping Costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination postcode.

Tracking

You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update on the carrier's website.

Incorrect Addresses

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping.

Failed Delivery and Unclaimed Parcels

If the carrier is unable to deliver your parcel and it is returned to us as unclaimed, we will contact you. Re-shipping costs will be payable before we re-dispatch.

Lost or Damaged in Transit

If your parcel is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please first:

  1. Check with neighbours, building reception, or other household members
  2. Check around the property for safe-drop locations
  3. Contact the carrier with your tracking number

If you still cannot locate the parcel, contact us at support@shirtcity.com.au within 14 days of the dispatch date and we will work with the carrier to investigate.

If your goods arrive damaged, please email us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photographs of the damage, including the outer packaging
  • A description of the damage

We will resolve the issue under the Australian Consumer Law — see our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Peak Periods and Public Holidays

We do not dispatch on weekends or public holidays. During peak retail periods (such as the lead-up to Christmas, EOFY sales, or major events), production and carrier times may be longer than usual. We will publish updated timelines on the Site where appropriate.
